The exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong (VND) and USD and Chinese Yuan (CNY) at commercial banks all increased.
With a trading band of ±5% compared to the central rate, the ceiling rate for USD applied is 26,310 VND/USD and the floor rate is 23,805 VND/USD. The reference rate at the State Bank of Vietnam is 23,827 VND/USD (buy) - 26,229 VND/USD (sell).

At 10:45 a.m., at the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), the exchange rate was listed at 25,980 VND/USD (buy) - 26,310 VND/USD (sell), an increase of 31 VND in the selling rate compared to the morning of June 23. Meanwhile, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BIDV ) listed the USD exchange rate at 26,015 VND/USD (buy) - 26,305 VND/USD (sell).
In the free market, USD is commonly traded at 26,290 VND/USD - 26,390 VND/USD, down about 5 VND.
In the world market, the DXY index measuring the health of the USD against other major currencies continued to decrease by 0.35%, down to 98.39 points.
Meanwhile, the yuan exchange rate still increased slightly, Vietcombank listed the yuan at 3,587 VND/NDT (buy) - 3,702 VND/NDT (sell), an increase of 2 VND in both buying and selling compared to yesterday morning.
