
Vietnam U17 entered their final group stage match against UAE U17 aiming for a victory to secure their own qualification for the U17 World Cup. However, coach Cristiano Roland's team had an unfavorable start, conceding a goal in the very first minute. Sultan Nasir Al Mheiri capitalized on a chaotic situation in the penalty area to score the opening goal for UAE U17 in the 18th second. Despite the early goal, Vietnam U17 did not lose heart, but instead fought hard, pushed forward in attack, and created several notable opportunities.
Coach Roland's players then took control of the game and put pressure on their opponents. In the 41st minute, Nguyen Luc executed a beautiful free kick, sending the ball through the wall to equalize the score 1-1 before the first half ended.

In the second half, Vietnam U17 continued to play proactively. In the 48th minute, after a back pass from Dai Nhan, Van Duong surged forward and scored to make the score 2-1. However, UAE U17 quickly responded in the 56th minute when Adam Mahrous skillfully controlled the ball and curled a dangerous shot to equalize the score at 2-2.
In a tense match, the Vietnam U17 team maintained pressure and played more dominantly. In the 68th minute, Mạnh Cường rose high to head the ball into the net from a corner kick, giving Vietnam U17 a 3-2 lead. In the final minutes, the UAE U17 team launched a strong attack, but goalkeeper Xuân Hòa made several saves, helping Vietnam U17 preserve the result.
In the end, Vietnam U17 won 3-2, finishing the group stage at the top of Group C with 6 points and securing their first-ever qualification for the U17 World Cup. In the other match played at the same time, South Korea U17 drew 0-0 with Yemen U17. The South Korean team finished second in Group C with 5 points and also secured their ticket to the 2026 U17 World Cup.
