On the evening of May 22nd, The Cong Viettel and PVF-CAND played a match in Round 24 of the V-League 2025-2026.

Despite having no chance of winning the championship, The Cong Viettel still holds an advantage in the race for the runner-up position. Therefore, Coach Popov's team aims to secure all three points against PVF-CAND to maintain their lead.

In the 5th minute, Van Tu delivered a tricky pass into the penalty area, allowing Nham Manh Dung to break through and take a shot. However, the former Vietnam U23 star's shot was too weak, giving the visiting team's defender time to retreat and clear the ball right on the goal line.
