The 2.5 Ring Road (Dam Hong - National Highway 1 section) is a project approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in 2002, with land clearance decisions starting in 2010. The project is being implemented under a Build-Transfer (BT) contract. This section of the ring road is approximately 2km long, designed with a width of 40m and sidewalks 7.5m wide. The total investment is approximately 1,300 billion VND. The BT project was scheduled for implementation from 2013 to 2016. However, to date, the project has only reached 87% completion due to land clearance issues. After years of delays, the remaining households have now handed over their land for construction.
