The beauty of Dak Bla, the river that flows in reverse.

Nestled amidst the vast Tây Nguyên highlands with its majestic mountains, the Dak Bla River meanders with its cool, refreshing water, its banks lush and green thanks to the alluvial deposits.

The Dak Bla River is approximately 139 km long, originating from the foot of Ngoc Linh Mountain in Tu Mo Rong District, Kon Tum Province. The river flows from east to west, contrary to other rivers in Vietnam, which is why locals often call it the "reverse-flowing river."

The Dak Bla River has, since ancient times, provided abundant aquatic resources, sheltering and sustaining generations of ethnic minority communities in the Central Highlands. In the villages of the Central Highlands, fascinating legends still circulate explaining the river's reverse flow and deep red color. The Dak Bla River is also an endless source of inspiration for artists and writers, culminating in numerous works of poetry, music , fine art, and photography.
