The fact that the Ministry of Information and Communications has requested to authenticate social network accounts by phone number is due to the following reasons: Firstly, the situation of cybercrime is increasing. This regulation is proposed from the need for state management as well as the needs of people who want to more closely manage social network accounts to limit online fraud.
