I hope that today's young generation will remember the noblest sacrifices made by our ancestors so that today our homeland and country can enjoy peace and a happy life. As someone who has been involved with traditional medicine for the past 40 years, I also hope that future generations will continue to study, preserve, and further develop traditional medicine. I sincerely hope that the State will provide more support in terms of infrastructure to further develop traditional medicine.

* Writer Nguyen Thao Nguyen – member of the Nguyen Dinh Chieu Literature and Arts Association: I am very happy and honored to receive the Nguyen Dinh Chieu Award today. For me, this is also a recognition of my 30 years of dedication and contribution to the field of literature and art. I am even more proud that in my hometown of Ben Tre, we artists and writers receive an award named after the patriotic poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu. Through the achievements of the province's literature and art sector in recent years, I hope that the young generation of the province will continue to preserve and develop them. We need to pay attention and find solutions to nurture the next generation. The young generation of artists and writers needs to continue to cherish their passion and strive to contribute, creating works that reflect the breath of modern life so that literature and art can reach the public and accompany society in the new era.

* Distinguished Teacher Tran Thi Cam Giang, Teacher at Thanh Phu Town Secondary School, Thanh Phu District: Receiving the prestigious Nguyen Dinh Chieu Award, I would first like to express my gratitude to the provincial leaders and the education sector, as well as the support of parents and students, which has motivated me to strive and dedicate myself to the teaching profession and achieve the accomplishments I have today. Speaking to today's young generation, I hope that they will continue to study diligently, be more dynamic, and strive for integration. As for myself, I will continue to cultivate the qualities and abilities of a teacher to inspire my students.

Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Cultural and Film Center, Nguyen Hoai Anh

* Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Cultural and Film Center, Nguyen Hoai Anh: As a son of Ben Tre – a land resilient in war and rich in identity in peace – and also a young artist who has matured during a period of national development, I feel honored and deeply responsible to follow in the footsteps of previous generations, contributing to my homeland with my pen, melodies, and emotions. In 50 years, Ben Tre has not only changed in appearance but also enriched its spirit. All of this is the result of countless generations who have poured their sweat, effort, and even blood and bones into building our homeland. In that journey, the arts have not been left out. We young people always ask ourselves: “What will we write, sing, or paint… to be worthy of our predecessors, and so that future generations can still find the soul of our homeland in each work?”

I believe that the responsibility of today's young artists and writers is not only to create and perform, but also to preserve memories and inspire people to live beautiful and idealistic lives. We may not have yet traversed the same difficult paths as our ancestors, but we have hearts full of love for our homeland and a great aspiration – the aspiration to build Ben Tre not only with our hands but also with our souls and creativity. We want to tell the world about a Ben Tre that is not only heroic, but also rich in humanity, full of compassion, and rising strongly in the new era.

Mr. Vo Tuan Thong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union

* Mr. Vo Tuan Thong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union:

Today, in the atmosphere of the historic and proud days of April, as we and our province look forward to the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Ben Tre province, I am deeply honored and proud to witness these historic moments. The youth of our province would like to express our profound gratitude to the generations of our forefathers who sacrificed their lives and blood to protect and regain independence and freedom for the Fatherland and to build our homeland, so that today's young generation can enjoy these proud achievements. Watching the moving documentary films and artistic programs, we clearly feel the hardships, losses, and indomitable spirit of our nation in the journey to regain independence.

April 30, 1975, is not only a glorious historical milestone, but also a reminder to the younger generation of their responsibility to preserve and develop their homeland. Therefore, we are even more aware of our role: we must study, train, live with ideals, and be responsible to ourselves, our families, and society; contributing with all our enthusiasm and intellect to building a stronger and more prosperous Vietnam.
