The DFE 5G chip was designed entirely by Viettel engineers. This chip is capable of performing 1 trillion calculations per second, meeting the 3GPP (Mobile Group of Programmers for Mobile Communications) 5G standard, equivalent to 5G chips from the world's top 10 semiconductor companies.
In addition, Viettel also introduced an automated network system that optimizes operational performance, saves energy, and automatically resolves application issues for both 5G and 4G. This system is currently being optimally deployed in Vietnam and the 10 countries where Viettel has business investments.
Also at MWC 2024, Viettel unveiled Vi An, an AI application for customer interaction, finance, and entertainment. This is Vietnam's first Human AI (artificial intelligence) that creates a new way of interacting. Vi An can converse with customers in a friendly and natural way.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chien, Deputy General Director of Viettel Group, said that by attending this event, Viettel is ready to strategically cooperate with technology corporations around the world and transfer technology with partners to jointly create the highest quality products to serve customers.
MWC 2024 is the largest annual event in the mobile industry, taking place from February 26th to 29th with the participation of 2,400 technology companies and an expected nearly 85,000 in-person visitors.
