Mentioning Captain Nguyen Vu Thu Huong at Military Hospital 354, everyone immediately remembers the pretty young woman who heads the "Essential Information" program, which is being implemented very effectively at the hospital. With her creativity and enthusiasm, Thu Huong has actively implemented informational content about medical examination and treatment procedures, health insurance policies, healthcare, and laws, broadcasting it on screens in waiting rooms and through internal radio, helping patients and their families better understand their rights and obligations when they come for examinations.

Furthermore, Thu Huong is an active member of the hospital's "Young Volunteer Doctors and Nurses Team," actively participating in charitable programs; regularly joining the hospital's delegations to provide medical examinations and health consultations for war veterans and the elderly in Cao Bang province and Hanoi ; and actively participating in blood donation, contributing to saving the lives of many patients treated at the hospital.

As a leading Youth Union officer, Thu Huong has always been at the forefront of participating in the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation in cyberspace. Captain Nguyen Vu Thu Huong won the B prize at the General Department of Logistics (now under the General Department of Logistics-Technical) in the third essay writing competition on defending the Party's ideological foundation and refuting false and hostile viewpoints (2023). In addition to this award, Thu Huong has always proactively participated in competitions organized by the Central Youth Union, the General Political Department, the General Department of Logistics-Technical, and the Hospital. She won the A prize at the all-army level and the excellent prize at the General Department level in the 2024 legal propaganda video clip competition; won the A prize at the all-army level and first prize at the General Department level in 2023 in the legal knowledge competition; and received an encouragement award at the 24th Youth Innovation Award in the Army for her research on improving healthcare methods and enhancing patient treatment effectiveness.

Thanks to her continuous efforts and emulation, in recent years, Captain Nguyen Vu Thu Huong has been repeatedly commended and rewarded by various levels. Notably, she received a commendation from the Minister of National Defense (in 2025); a commendation from the Head of the General Political Department (in 2025); and the title of Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level (in 2024)...

Working alongside his wife in emulation campaigns, over the years, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Dat, together with the Finance Department and Staff Office of the 371st Division, has advised the Party Committee and the Division's command on effectively carrying out the state management function in finance. At the same time, he has proactively advised on the development of annual budget estimates; perfecting financial work in a unified manner, upholding the rule of law, and conforming to state regulations and the specifics of national defense.

As Head of the Finance Department, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Dat directed the financial departments at all levels within the Division to implement the annual budget planning process, ensuring comprehensiveness, transparency, and adherence to procedures and regulations; allocating financial resources in the right direction, with a focus on key areas; ensuring sufficient and timely funding for units; urging units to complete documentation and disburse 100% of the funds allocated by the Air Force, contributing to meeting the project timelines. This resulted in innovation in financial management, better meeting the Division's regular, unexpected, and newly arising tasks.

Not only is he professionally competent, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Dat is also very active in scientific research, initiatives, and technical improvements. From 2023 to the present, he has had two projects submitted to the Youth Innovation Award in the Army. In the 24th edition (2024), his project: “Enhancing the individual capabilities of pilots in the 371st Air Force Division today,” which he led, won second prize. In the 25th edition (2025), his project: “Improving the quality of state budget expenditure management for basic construction investment in the Air Defense-Air Force Command today,” which he led, won third prize. In 2021, 2023, and 2024, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Dat consistently achieved the title of Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level and received numerous commendations and certificates of merit.

The spirit of relentless effort and striving, and the spirit of "competing together," of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Dat and Captain Nguyen Vu Thu Huong, a military officer, is a shining example for young people in agencies and units to learn from and emulate.
