The new roundabout at Independence Square (Hai Duong City) has been completed.

A new oval-shaped roundabout at the Independence Square intersection ( Hai Duong City).

According to the Hai Duong City Basic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the construction unit has completed the traffic organization improvement project at Independence Square (Hai Duong City) after more than a month of implementation.

The project is on schedule. The contractor is currently planting flowers and trees in the traffic island area.

The new roundabout has an oval shape. At the entrances and exits of the intersection, islands are positioned to guide and separate traffic flow. The road surface and sidewalks around the intersection have been renovated. Around the traffic islands and at the entrances to the intersection, lane markings and arrows indicating the direction of travel are painted to delineate lanes and limit the road surface.

Previously, in mid-November 2024, the Hai Duong City Basic Construction Investment Project Management Board directed the construction unit to continue improving traffic organization at the Independence Square intersection to ensure safety and renew the overall space and landscape in the area.

The renovation area covers approximately 10,155 ^m² , spanning three wards: Nguyen Trai, Quang Trung, and Tran Hung Dao.
