The new roundabout at Independence Square (Hai Duong City) has been completed.

According to the Management Board of Basic Construction Investment Projects of Hai Duong City, the construction unit has completed the project to renovate traffic organization at Doc Lap Square (Hai Duong City) after more than a month of implementation.

The project is completed on schedule. The contractor is planting flowers and trees in the traffic island area.

The new roundabout is oval in shape. At the beginning of the branches leading to and from the intersection, there are islands to guide and separate traffic flows. The road surface and sidewalks around the intersection have been renovated. Around the traffic island and the beginning of the branches leading to the intersection, there are painted lane markings, road limits, arrows indicating the direction of travel...

Previously, in mid-November 2024, the Hai Duong City Basic Construction Investment Project Management Board directed the construction unit to continue renovating the traffic organization at the intersection of Doc Lap Square to ensure safety and renew the space and general landscape in the area.

The renovated area is about 10,155 m2 , belonging to 3 wards: Nguyen Trai, Quang Trung and Tran Hung Dao.
