Illegal tourism promotion in Da Nang: TikToker speaks out.

(NLĐO) – The owner of the TikTok channel "Tuan Di Dau" (Where is Tuan going?) admitted his mistake and hoped for understanding and support so that he could continue to spread beautiful images of Da Nang City.

On June 5-6, in an interview with Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. L.D.AT (owner of the TikTok channel "Tuan di dau") shared his thoughts regarding the unauthorized tourism promotion on his Facebook and TikTok platforms.

According to Mr. T., at the time the video was filmed, he was hosting a group of friends from Hue City who were visiting Da Nang . Having seen previous videos of squid fishing experiences, he had no doubts and decided to contact the service provider to book a squid fishing trip for the whole group.

The promotional videos and experiences of illegal squid fishing on Son Tra Peninsula have now been removed by the channel owner.

" The video I posted about the night squid fishing tour is a personal experience and I paid for it myself; it's not a paid advertising clip," Mr. T. affirmed.

Mr. T. said he deeply regretted his actions and apologized to the online community for not verifying the legality of the service before promoting it. "After the media reported on it, I realized I was wrong and immediately removed the clip. At the same time, I contacted the service owner and was shocked to find out that this was an unlicensed, illegal tour," Mr. T. explained.

At the same time, the owner of the TikTok channel "Tuan Di Dau" pledged that in the future, when carrying out activities to introduce, promote, or advertise services, he will pay special attention to legal aspects before uploading clips.

"I am a person who loves Da Nang city very much. The videos I post are all aimed at spreading positive tourism images of the city. I hope the authorities and the public will understand and support me so that I can continue my profession," Mr. T. expressed.

Previously, as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, social media platforms Facebook and TikTok were flooded with videos showcasing and advertising night squid fishing services on Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang City.

Among them, the verified TikTok channel "Tuan di dau" with over 291,000 followers also participated in posting clips promoting this type of service. This is a famous TikToker who specializes in posting videos about travel experiences and services in Da Nang City.

Representatives from the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches affirmed that this is an unauthorized, unregulated tourism activity. Currently, the Management Board has not granted permission for this type of night squid fishing experience.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said they will verify the information, coordinate with security forces to trace the video (even though it has been deleted), and handle the matter in accordance with the law.
