Vu Thu launches the 2026 Month of Action for Children.

On the morning of May 31st, the People's Committee of Vu Thu commune organized the launching ceremony for the 2026 Action Month for Children with the theme "Happy, safe, and confident children in the digital age".

Leaders of Vu Thu commune, along with sponsoring organizations, presented gifts to underprivileged children in the commune.

Representatives from the Provincial Youth Union and leaders of Vu Thu commune presented gifts to disadvantaged children and children with outstanding academic achievements in the commune.

Vu Thu commune has over 10,000 children and teenagers. Over the years, the protection, care, and education of children have always been a priority for local Party committees, authorities, departments, and organizations, considered a crucial, ongoing, and long-term task. The commune has promptly implemented policies to support children, organized many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual well-being of children in difficult circumstances, and maintained cultural, artistic, and sports activities, as well as summer programs, creating a healthy environment for children's development. However, many risks of accidents and injuries, especially drowning during the summer, remain. Leaders of Vu Thu commune received 20 gift packages for children from Vinh Lam Furniture Company.

Leaders of Vu Thu commune, along with sponsoring organizations, presented gifts to disadvantaged children and children with outstanding academic achievements in the commune.

The 116 rescue team provides training on drowning prevention skills for children.

On this occasion, the 116 Rescue Team also disseminated information and provided guidance on preventing drowning and injuries to children. The Youth Union of the commune, the Vu Thu Red Cross Volunteer Team, and Vinh Lam Furniture Company presented 99 gifts to disadvantaged children and high-achieving students in the commune.
