(QBĐT) - In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution strongly affecting all aspects of social life, Vietnamese families are facing many challenges as some traditional family values are fading away. In response to Vietnamese Family Day (June 28), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) has developed, issued a plan and organized a communication campaign "Cultivating Vietnamese family values in the 4.0 era".
The communication campaign aims to promote propaganda andeducation work, improve the effectiveness of family building work, and foster Vietnamese family values in the current period, thereby creating a change in awareness, action and promoting the role and responsibility of each individual, all levels of the association and the whole society regarding the position, role and value of Vietnamese families in the 4.0 era.
The campaign also created a synchronous response from all levels of the association in propaganda, education on ethics, lifestyle, value orientation, educating the young generation to promote good traditional family values; gradually reduce domestic violence, contribute to building people with good personality, beautiful lifestyle, comprehensive development, building a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized family.
In June 2024, the communication campaign "Cultivating Vietnamese family values in the 4.0 era" was organized in 8 districts, towns and cities with the participation of more than 1,600 cadres, women's union members, club leaders, branches, women's groups and people, members of happy family clubs. In particular, the Provincial Women's Union organized 2 working groups, coordinating with 8 districts, towns and cities to organize the event.

At the event, participants watched video clips of real-life situations about everyday situations in family 4.0, from which the reporters interacted, discussed, and shared about the situations. Everyone could relate to reality and draw good experiences. In addition, topics on preserving and cultivating traditional values of Vietnamese families in the context of international integration with practical solutions were also conveyed. Activities were organized in a variety of practical forms, ensuring efficiency, safety, and savings, suitable to the practical situation of the locality and unit.
Next, the associations at all levels continue to organize communication on "Cultivating Vietnamese family values in the 4.0 era" in communes, wards, and towns; women's associations of the armed forces and in the women's union system of units. The associations at all levels will choose appropriate forms of communication depending on the actual situation, such as: Organizing forums/conferences; integrating communication in thematic conferences/association activities; communication on mass media; social media communication (facebook, zalo...); online contests, ringing the golden bell...
The communication campaign “Cultivating Vietnamese family values in the 4.0 era” has contributed to making Vietnamese Family Day a truly festival to foster family values for everyone, every family in all localities in the province. From there, it affirms the role of the Women's Union at all levels in preserving and promoting the good values of Vietnamese families “Safety, responsibility, prosperity and equality”. |
Chairwoman of Dong Hoi City Women's Union Mai Thi Nhan shared: Following the province's plan, the City Women's Union coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union to organize a media conference "Cultivating Vietnamese family values in the 4.0 era" with many attractive and impressive contents, helping women gain more knowledge and skills in cultivating Vietnamese family values. The next day, 15 communes and wards in the city all implemented the event with 2 locations/commune, ward. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union also organized a forum on " Quang Binh Women Fostering Vietnamese Family Values in the 4.0 Era". Here, Dr. To Nhi A, a psychologist, lecturer at the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City, shared and discussed with many guests about the psychology of generations, psychology in marriage, family, and preserving and fostering traditional values of Vietnamese families in the context of international integration. This is a valuable opportunity for delegates and women to exchange, listen and accumulate more good knowledge and valuable experiences in family building.
Speaking at the forum, President of the Provincial Women's Union Diep Thi Minh Quyet emphasized that the forum also demonstrated the responsibility, practical and meaningful contributions of all levels of the union, and of Quang Binh women in the work of building and nurturing good family values; building a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized family according to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and Directive No. 06-CT/TW, dated June 24, 2021 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in family building in the new situation.
