(QBĐT) - At the Provincial Military Command, almost everyone knows about professional military lieutenant colonel Dang Thi Thiep, in charge of the Secret Documents Department of the Command Office. She has quietly performed well the function of "gatekeeper" of all incoming and outgoing documents of the unit; quietly assumed the role of "big sister" to run the security department; actively participated in competitions launched by the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region 4 Command and Quang Binh province. Her remarkable achievements are truly outstanding, even if she wanted to, she could not "keep quiet"...

At the age of 20, in February 1992, Dang Thi Thiep joined the army and was assigned to work at the Military Command of Quang Binh province. Of her 33 years of service, nearly 32 years have been spent as a confidential document officer. With her diligence, hard work, and meticulousness, throughout her working time, she has always performed her duties well, which are: Receiving, operating, and processing outgoing and incoming documents promptly and accurately; advising on drafting, issuing, and managing documents to ensure legal standards and regulations; effectively applying the digital transformation process in handling documents and the work of creating and submitting archived documents.

There are peak times such as training and rehearsals, when her department has to process hundreds of documents every day. However, she and her teammates still handle everything "in the right way", smoothly, quickly, promptly, accurately, meeting the urgent requirements of the task with all their enthusiasm, dedication and love for the job.

In particular, to meet the requirements and assigned tasks, professional military lieutenant colonel Dang Thi Thiep has researched and participated in 2 scientific initiative topics, which were highly appreciated by the Military Region 4 Command and had effective practical applications. Thanks to that, during her military service, there was almost no year that she was not elected as an advanced soldier, emulation soldier and received a certificate of merit. Of which, there were 2 times when she was honored to receive the title of "Emulation Soldier of the whole army".

In charge of the Confidential Documents Department, which is mostly female, many of the women are in difficult circumstances, while the work requirements sometimes do not take into account day or night, breaks, days off... With the willingness to take on and share time and work, Dang Thi Thiep has researched and assigned work reasonably, helping women to both promote their strengths and be proactive, harmonizing family and unit work. Thanks to that, the department is always a model of solidarity, understanding, and sharing. The assigned work is therefore always effective, recognized by the Head of the Command, Head of Department, Office, Agency, and comrades and teammates.

In addition to fulfilling her duties well, her comrades, teammates and especially the younger generation especially appreciate her for her diligence, perseverance, carefulness and meticulousness in participating in research competitions launched by the Ministry of National Defense , Military Region 4 and Quang Binh province. Whenever there is a research competition, the collective unit and each individual "default" to trust Ms. Dang Thi Thiep to "shoulder" the heaviest part. In just the past 3 years, she has achieved many impressive achievements: National A prize in the research competition about General Vo Nguyen Giap; National B prize in the research competition "80 years of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army"; National consolation prize in the research competition "50 years of the Liberation of the South, reunification of the country"; Second prize in the entire army in the research competition about the tradition of the heroic Information and Communications Corps; First prize in the Military Region in the research competition about the tradition of the Army Logistics sector and dozens of other individual awards. In addition to high individual awards, she has made important contributions to helping the Provincial Military Command win valuable team awards.

With continuous efforts and remarkable achievements, for 3 consecutive years from 2021-2024, Ms. Dang Thi Thiep was honored to be recognized by the Provincial Military Command with the title of "Emulation Fighter". In particular, with 2 innovative topics certified by the Military Region Command, 3 national awards in research competitions and 3 consecutive years of emulation fighter achievements, in June 2025, professional soldier Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thi Thiep was honored to be awarded the title "Emulation Fighter of the whole army" by the Ministry of National Defense. Thus, at the Military Command of Quang Binh province, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thi Thiep is the second soldier to be honored to receive this noble title.
