Yok Don National Park is the venue for the National Mountain Bike Race.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Yok Don National Park (Krong Na commune, Buon Don border district) was chosen as the venue for the National Amateur Mountain Bike Race.

This is the first time this exciting tournament has been held in Dak Lak. The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Cycling and Motorsport Federation, the Endangered Wildlife Protection Project in collaboration with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in response to World Elephant Day on August 12.

The tournament includes the following events: 17.5 km distance, age group 18 to 40; 14 km distance for men, age group 41 and over; 7 km distance for women, age group 18 and over; and 7 km distance for men and women, age group 18 and over. Athletes compete in the Olympic cross-country format, with individual and team results calculated.

The tournament will take place on World Elephant Day, August 12, 2023.

Thus, after the national cycling race held at the beginning of the year, Dak Lak continues to be the destination of the National Amateur Mountain Bike Race. With the presence of a large number of athletes and fans, this is an opportunity for Dak Lak, especially the border district of Buon Don, to promote tourism.
