(Baohatinh.vn) - Thach Khe commune, Ha Tinh province, is making efforts to collect and process the large amount of waste that has washed ashore on Thach Hai beach after recent storms.

On the morning of September 7th, the People's Committee of Thach Khe commune mobilized hundreds of people from organizations, associations, armed forces, and residents of the villages of Bac Hai, Nam Hai, Thuong Hai, Dai Hai, and Lien Hai to clean up the Thach Hai beach environment.

Due to the impact of typhoons No. 5 and No. 6, beaches in Ha Tinh, including Thach Hai beach, suffered from a huge amount of waste washing ashore, causing environmental pollution and significantly affecting the tourist landscape and the lives of coastal residents.

Most of the debris washed ashore on Thach Hai beach after the storm consists of water hyacinth, dry wood, scrap wood, and household waste.

The forces are working to collect and sort waste, and transport it to designated collection points for processing.

With the large amount of waste washing ashore on Thach Hai beach, cleanup will take a long time. However, Thach Khe commune is still making efforts to deal with it.

Waste along Thach Hai beach has been cleaned up, contributing to improving the environmental pollution situation and restoring the beach to its former clean and beautiful state.
