Workshop “Opening the Pages of Spring”

“Opening the Pages of Spring” is an experiential and storytelling workshop organized by the Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library (69 Ly Tu Trong Street, Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) on the morning of February 8th, for those who love books and the Tet holiday atmosphere.

Here, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with two children's book authors, Quynh Huong and Quynh Le, and listen to them read and tell heartwarming and lovely Tet stories such as "A Sweet Tet Rendezvous," "Another Unlucky Day," and "Spring Calls the Sky to Be Painted with Sunlight."

After listening to stories, the children also participated in many fun interactive activities such as: making New Year's greeting cards, making paper horses to decorate apricot and peach blossom trees, decorating lucky calendar pages, etc.

Each activity helps children have fun and be creative, while fully experiencing the joy and springtime atmosphere of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

Later that same day, also at this location, authors Quynh Huong and Quynh Le will share their journey in creating picture books in the "Springtime Conversations about Picture Books" program.

This is an opportunity for young children to learn and explore more about picture books with a spring theme.
