Cam Lam commune inaugurates the first phase of first-year militia training.

On the morning of June 2nd, the Cam Lam Commune Military Command held the opening ceremony for the first training session of 164 first-year militia soldiers in 2026.

The training course lasted until June 18th. During the training, the militia soldiers were equipped with knowledge on: the task of defending the Fatherland in the new situation; building and protecting national territorial sovereignty and borders; the "peaceful evolution" strategy of hostile forces; the role of militia in mobilizing the people and building a strong and comprehensive foundation; the Party and State's views and policies on ethnicity and religion in the new situation; the basic content of the Militia Law and its implementing guidelines. The training course aims to help first-year militia soldiers improve their skills, understand the position and role of the militia force; and at the same time, master basic tactics and techniques, and proficiently use existing weapons, meeting the requirements of training and combat readiness in the new situation.
