Traditional craft villages in Tran Phu commune (Hai Phong) are proving economically effective, generating over 300 billion VND in revenue annually.

The incense-making villages in Tran Phu commune not only preserve the traditional craft but also provide stable employment for many local workers.

Tran Phu commune currently has 5 recognized craft villages, including: Truc Tri incense making, Dong Thon incense production, An Xa bamboo weaving for incense making, Tong Xa incense making, and Man De fruit and vegetable drying.

Traditional craft villages generate over 300 billion VND in revenue annually, creating jobs for over 1,000 local workers with an average income of 5-6 million VND per person per month. Many production facilities are gradually investing in expanding their scale, improving product quality, focusing on environmental protection, and aiming for sustainable development.

Currently, households engaged in production and business in the commune have developed 31 OCOP products, including 5 products achieving 4 stars and 26 products achieving 3 stars. OCOP products are increasingly demonstrating their quality, contributing to enhancing the value of local products and expanding their consumer market.

Preserving and promoting the value of traditional craft villages not only contributes to maintaining local cultural identity but also creates momentum for rural economic development, improves people's lives, and builds new rural areas.
