On April 12th, in Binh Minh town, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, in coordination with other units, organized the 2025 Thanh Tra Festival and showcased a Vietnamese record with 135 dishes prepared using Thanh Tra fruit from Binh Minh.

Speaking at the festival, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, said that pomelo in Binh Minh town in particular and Vinh Long province in general not only brings economic value but also contributes to building the brand of agricultural products of the province.
With its delicious, tangy-sweet flavor, attractive bright yellow color, and health benefits, the star fruit has become a favorite choice not only for locals but also for many international tourists.

Thanh tra is a specialty fruit, cultivated for hundreds of years, primarily in the Binh Minh area with over 100 hectares. In recent years, besides being consumed fresh, thanh tra has been processed into many high-quality products, such as pickled thanh tra, thanh tra jam, and thanh tra wine. Many dishes seasoned with thanh tra have become part of the meals of many farming families, as well as elegant banquets, contributing to the added value of thanh tra and increasing income for the local people.
"This is the first time Vinh Long has organized the Green Tea Festival to promote its image and introduce its tourism development potential to domestic and foreign investors and tourists," added Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh.
