Building a school of hope for disadvantaged students in Binh Phuoc


On March 14.3, the People's Committee of Dong Xoai City (Binh Phuoc) coordinated with Samsung Vietnam and Korea Food for the Hungry International organization to start construction of the Samsung Hope School in Tan Thanh commune (Dong Xoai City).

Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex, hopes that the school will help students have a solid foundation to nurture their dreams.

According to Samsung Vietnam, this is the 5th school in Vietnam (after Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang and Lang Son), and is also Samsung's first hope school in the southern region. Up to now, there have been more than 5.000 students studying and developing at the Samsung Hope School system across the country.

Awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances

After being completed in 2024, the school will be the place to implement child development programs for about 300 students in difficult circumstances from elementary to middle school in Binh Phuoc with the following contents: information technology, programming, career experience, foreign languages ​​(English, Korean), music, fine arts, physical education and many other useful activities.
