On March 14.3, the People's Committee of Dong Xoai City (Binh Phuoc) coordinated with Samsung Vietnam and Korea Food for the Hungry International organization to start construction of the Samsung Hope School in Tan Thanh commune (Dong Xoai City).
According to Samsung Vietnam, this is the 5th school in Vietnam (after Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang and Lang Son), and is also Samsung's first hope school in the southern region. Up to now, there have been more than 5.000 students studying and developing at the Samsung Hope School system across the country.
Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex, shared: “I hope the school in Binh Phuoc will become a place that provides children with quality extracurricular classes, helping them have a foundation. firmly to nurture your dreams."
After being completed in 2024, the school will be the place to implement child development programs for about 300 students in difficult circumstances from elementary to middle school in Binh Phuoc with the following contents: information technology, programming, career experience, foreign languages (English, Korean), music, fine arts, physical education and many other useful activities.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Binh, Chairman of Dong Xoai City People's Committee, commented: "The project will contribute to creating living and learning conditions for students in difficult circumstances and poor students in the area, helping children develop comprehensive physical as well as life skills, spreading knowledge, vision and creating the future for the young generation. Through that, we contribute to the development of education in Dong Xoai City."
