Building Asia's leading Genetic Testing Center

Representatives of JS Link Company (Korea) and Gene Viet Molecular Biology Joint Stock Company (right) signed a contract to build a Gene Testing Center.

According to the agreement, JS Link Company will take on the role of consulting, building and transferring advanced technology, and providing the entire equipment system for Gene Viet Molecular Biology Joint Stock Company's Gene Testing Center. When it is put into operation in the second quarter of 2026, the Center is expected to become a genetic decoding testing facility and apply AI in risk assessment, early detection of cancer and genetic diseases (such as stroke, diabetes, etc.).

With a testing capacity of up to 500,000 samples/year, this will be the leading genetic testing center in Asia and among the world's leading in DNA testing, combining modern analytical technologies with the application of artificial intelligence AI and Big Data on the human genome, creating breakthroughs in personalized medicine according to each person's own genetic map. Up to now, with a population of more than 100 million people, Vietnam is a potential market in testing for proactive disease prevention, disease treatment, stem cell testing and stem cell applications in health care and beauty.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Van Khoa - General Director of Gene Viet Molecular Biology Joint Stock Company emphasized: "The cooperation with JS Link not only brings the most advanced technologies in the field of genomics, but also marks an important turning point to make Vietnam a bright spot on the map of biotechnology research and application in the region and the world".

This cooperation event is also considered a step to realize the orientation of shifting from processing cooperation to technology transfer cooperation, research and development in the field of biotechnology - an important content mentioned during the State visit of General Secretary To Lam to Korea from August 10-13, 2025.
