Dassault Systèmes Group and Viettel Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), digital design and digital simulation.

This partnership helps accelerate digital transformation, promote innovation and enhance Vietnam's position in high-tech industries.

Under the agreement, Dassault Systèmes will collaborate with Viettel AI and Viettel Group's member companies to integrate the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and AI/ML solutions into Viettel's projects in the fields of smart manufacturing and digital transformation. The collaboration will explore applications such as AI-based product design and simulation, virtual twin modeling, manufacturing optimization, natural language processing, robotics, and AI-based data analytics for research and development (R&D).

The two sides will establish a joint working framework to identify and implement initiatives that will strengthen Viettel’s innovation chain and support Vietnam’s long-term industrial development. The MoU also emphasizes human resource development and training, equipping Viettel’s workforce with new digital capabilities and AI applications to meet future technology needs and accelerate the process of improving national skills.

"Dassault Systèmes has been present in Vietnam for more than 20 years, and our new partnership with Viettel AI marks an important step forward. Together, we will leverage Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform and virtual twin technology to drive smarter industries, upskill high-tech human resources, and drive sustainable growth," said Samson Khaou, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Dassault Systèmes.

This partnership supports Viettel’s aspiration to strengthen its position in strategic technology industries, especially the semiconductor sector, by integrating Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform into the entire innovation process, from design and simulation to manufacturing and operations.

“Viettel’s mission is to always be a pioneer in technology and innovation for the benefit of the people and country of Vietnam. Working with Dassault Systèmes will enable us to apply AI and digital solutions to strategic areas, helping the company solve complex challenges faster, create smarter solutions and build the highly qualified human resources needed to strengthen Vietnam’s position on the global technology map,” said Mr. Nguyen Manh Quy, Director of Viettel AI.

The first memorandum of understanding between Dassault Systèmes and Viettel marks the beginning of a strong partnership, with pilot projects and stakeholder engagement expected to be rolled out in the coming months.

Underscoring its long-term commitment to Vietnam’s digital future, Dassault Systèmes is expanding its presence through strategic partnerships to drive local innovation and support sustainable industrial growth. In 2024, Dassault Systèmes has partnered with the Vietnam National Innovation Center to accelerate digital innovation in key industries such as smart factories, semiconductors, and digital telecommunications.
