Mr. Tran Minh Quan (Phuoc Tra commune) is a victim of Agent Orange, facing difficult family circumstances and living in a dilapidated house. In response to this situation, the Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims of the city mobilized officers and soldiers of the Navy to contribute 80 million VND in support.

In addition, the Veterans Association of Phuoc Tra commune contributed 2 tons of cement, combined with resources from the family, to build the new house. The house is expected to be completed and handed over in July 2026.

Representatives of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the city emphasized that this activity has practical significance on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026) and towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026). This is an opportunity to express gratitude, care for, and help Agent Orange victims stabilize their lives, while contributing to the effective implementation of the "Gratitude and Repayment" policy.
