Since the second quarter, the Vietnamese electric motorcycle market has become increasingly vibrant with the appearance of many new models and a series of promotional programs. From Japanese representatives to Vietnamese domestic brands, every name is benefiting from demand-stimulating programs.
A series of price promotions from VinFast
VinFast is the most aggressive brand in the electric motorcycle price reduction race. The entire product range of this Vietnamese domestic manufacturer is currently benefiting from price incentives and registration fee subsidies.
Customers purchasing electric motorcycles from VinFast are currently receiving a 6% discount on the vehicle price thanks to the "Intense for a Green Future" program, along with 100% support for registration fees (equivalent to 2% of the vehicle value). If customers bring their gasoline motorcycles to the dealership to participate in the "trade-in gasoline for electricity" program, they will receive an additional 5% discount on the vehicle price.
In addition, customers also receive free charging and battery swapping services at charging stations and battery swapping points nationwide. As a result, the selling price of VinFast's car models has been significantly reduced.

VinFast's three newest products, the Viper, Feliz II, and Flaz Max, are also enjoying similar promotions. Among these, the Viper is currently priced at 39.9 million VND without the battery, rising to 45.5 million VND when purchased with the battery. The Flaz Max electric scooter, designed for students, is expected to cost around 14.99 million VND.

Honda Icon e: reduced to 15 million VND
Honda continues to offer new promotions for the Icon e: model, bringing the price of the electric scooter down to around 15.5 million VND. Previously, the vehicle was listed at 26.9 million VND. Since the Lunar New Year, the price has been reduced by 5 million VND to 21.9 million VND.
Honda equips the ICON e with a 1.5 kW electric motor integrated into the rear wheel, capable of producing a maximum power of 2.43 horsepower, a maximum torque of 85 Nm, and a top speed of 49 km/h.
In this price reduction, all three versions of the Honda Icon e: have been lowered to unprecedentedly low prices.

The wave of incentives is turning the Vietnamese electric motorcycle market into a fierce battle for market share like never before. Under pressure from VinFast's extensive charging station ecosystem and the aggressive incentive policies of other brands, Vietnamese consumers are the biggest beneficiaries, as the cost barrier to owning an electric vehicle has been lowered to a minimum.
