Which channel to watch, and at what time?

Following the qualifying rounds (held from November 4th to 7th), the Seoul 2024 World Cup billiards enters its most exciting stage, featuring 32 players. Four Vietnamese players are participating in this round: Tran Quyet Chien, Bao Phuong Vinh, Nguyen Hoan Tat, and Dao Van Ly.

Tran Quyet Chien is in Group B with Roland Forthomme (Belgium) and two South Korean players, Seo Chang-hoon and Jeong Ye-sung. Quyet Chien will play his opening match at the Seoul 2024 World Cup Billiards against Roland Forthomme at 8:00 AM today (November 8th, Vietnam time). Depending on the results, the number one Vietnamese player will continue to play at 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on the same day.

All matches involving Tran Quyet Chien and other Vietnamese players will be broadcast live on the SOOP Live platform (link: https://billiards.sooplive.co.kr/schedule/111).

Tran Quyet Chien will compete at the Seoul 2024 Billiards World Cup held in South Korea.

Dao Van Ly was drawn into the toughest group compared to the other Vietnamese players, facing veteran players such as Eddy Merckx (Belgium), Torbjorn Blomdahl (Sweden), and Lee Beom-yeol (South Korea) in Group E. Van Ly took to the court at 10:00 AM , facing Eddy Merckx.

Nguyen Hoan Tat is in Group F with Martin Horn (Germany), Marco Zanetti (Italy), and Peter Ceulemans (Belgium). Hoan Tat will face Marco Zanetti at 10:00 AM .

Bao Phuong Vinh is in Group H with Sameh Sidhom (Egypt), Kang Ja-in (South Korea), and Jeong Sung-il (South Korea). Phuong Vinh will face Sameh Sidhom at 10:00 AM .

Dao Van Ly, Nguyen Hoan Tat, and Bao Phuong Vinh will continue to compete in two time slots: 2 PM and 6 PM on the same day.

Bao Phuong Vinh also took to the field from round 32.

In the round of 32, the players were divided equally into 8 groups (4 players per group), competing in a single round-robin format to determine points and rankings (draws were allowed). The top two players in each group advanced to the round of 16 (knockout). Tran Quyet Chien and Bao Phuong Vinh were given by special exemptions to compete from the round of 32, while Hoan Tat and Van Ly qualified by passing the preliminary rounds.
