Recently, in a post on Weibo, leaker Digital Chat Station revealed key details about the Xiaomi MIX Flip, including the launch timeframe.

Accordingly, Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset - this is the first folding phone to use this chip.

In terms of design, it will be little like the previous generation except for minor changes in the external shape. However, Xiaomi has made an effort to reduce the wrinkles on the screen in the second generation.

The MIX Flip 2 is said to come in a variety of customized versions for women, including color schemes. The source also revealed that the device has a 3,825mAh + 1,225mAh battery, giving a rated value of 5,050mAh and a typical value of 5,100mAh. The device will support 50W wireless charging and IPX8 water resistance.

Previous leaks have revealed that the MIX Flip 2 will feature a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its rear camera setup will feature a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

Leaker Digital Chat Station also revealed that the MIX Flip 2 will launch in the second quarter in China and soon be available globally.
