Specifically, according to the aforementioned cybersecurity groups, they have just had a "terrible discovery" on the Google Play Store - more than 100 apps (apps) are hosting a malicious code called SpinOK. More dangerous, 2 of those infected apps had more than 100 million downloads.
What apps are they? Specifically, it is the video player and editor “Noizz: video editor with music” and the file sharer “Zapyia – File Transfer, Share”.
So how dangerous is the SpinOK malware? According to “Dr. Web", SpinOK "shows legit behavior" by launching mini-games that lead to "Daily Reward" to capture user interest.

However, SpinOK silently accesses the data stored on the Android device and sends it to a remote server. This puts the device owner's private photos and videos at risk.
This malicious code can also copy and replace the contents stored in the device's clipboard – which is very dangerous for digital currency transactions.
Besides the two apps mentioned above, SpinOK was also found in about 2 apps on the Google Play Store with a total download of about 101 million times.
The good news is that all of the aforementioned apps except “Noizz: video editor with music” and “Zapyia – File Transfer, Share” have been removed from the Google Play Store. So why does Google still keep these 2 apps? That's because the developers have updated the "clean" versions.
On the other hand, if you've ever installed the aforementioned apps on your Android device – you should delete them immediately, and download and run the latest antivirus app for your device (Bitdefender is recommended by cybersecurity groups). recommendation is appropriate against SpinOK).
Emergency removal and instant antivirus if you have these apps installed
