This project is a collaboration between supermodel Xuan Lan (Xuanlan's Academy) and leading names in filmmaking and photography, namely Tran Film and Kiengcan Studio.
Xuan Lan presented flowers to the three organizations that collaborated on the project "The New Generation of Models".
In addition to launching a fashion photo book featuring multiple generations of models (including a separate photo exhibition), The New Generation of Models also organizes high-class fashion shows showcasing collections by Vietnamese designers at many famous landmarks around the world .
In addition, The New Generation of Models will produce a documentary recounting the meaningful journeys of Vietnamese models and fashion through successive generations of models in the Vietnamese fashion industry. The programs will be directed by general director Nguyen Ngoc Lam (husband of supermodel Xuan Lan).

The first destination for The New Generation of Models is Nami Island and Seoul, South Korea, scheduled for January 27, 2024, featuring 30 professional models from Vietnam, special guests including famous models from previous generations in Vietnam, and some renowned international models.
Despite facing numerous challenges during the travel process for the show, the team was motivated to overcome all obstacles by the desire to create exceptionally valuable footage of the modeling world's stories and unprecedented images in Vietnamese fashion shows (such as models strutting through falling snow). Vietnamese models participating in this show can use the photos and videos as profiles to send to international modeling agencies, increasing their chances of career advancement.
Models and crew attended the press conference launching The New Generation of Models project on November 30th in Ho Chi Minh City.
The program's production team gave interviews to the press.
Supermodel Xuan Lan shared at the press conference: " The New Generation of Models project is not just a one- or two-year project, but a long journey. We are not doing this for commercial purposes, but to help generations of models have the opportunity to affirm themselves, to honor professional models who work hard in the profession but receive little recognition from professionals and the public, so that younger generations of models have more opportunities to be known by international audiences.”
