Wood exports grow positively

With many strengths in forestry development, business support policies and free trade agreements, Vietnam's wood and wood product exports have achieved many successes in the international market. Vietnam's wood industry is in a favorable position to take advantage of strong demand from domestic and international markets. At the same time, businesses are investing in new technology and digital transformation to develop new products and services, improve competitiveness, increase efficiency and productivity.

Despite many advantages, the wood industry still faces many difficulties as Vietnam's main export markets increasingly require strict control of wood origin to ensure legality, not affecting forest degradation and loss; green production, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and carbon border adjustment mechanisms.
