Yen Mo Opens the Spring Fair of the Year of the Dragon 2024

On the evening of February 3rd, the People's Committee of Yen Mo district held the opening ceremony of the Giap Thin 2024 Spring Fair. The event attracted a large number of local people to visit and enjoy.

The 2024 Spring Fair took place over 5 days, from February 3rd to 7th. Organized on a district-wide scale, the fair included 50 stalls, a food court, and an area selling flowers and ornamental plants to serve the public's Tet (Lunar New Year) shopping needs.

The fair provides an opportunity for people to exchange, buy, sell, and promote flowers and ornamental plants for the Lunar New Year; local products; and products recognized as OCOP 3-star at the district level and 4-star at the provincial level from businesses, cooperatives, and communes/towns. It also offers businesses inside and outside the district a chance to access the market and introduce industrial goods, handicrafts, agricultural products, and food to consumers.

Also within the framework of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Year of the Dragon Spring Fair, a Folk Dance Competition was held with the participation of 17 teams from 17 communes and towns in the district. The competition took place on the evening of February 3-5. Immediately after the opening ceremony, 9 teams participated in the creative performance. The competition is a healthy and beneficial playground to encourage, motivate, and promote the sports and cultural and artistic movements in the district, creating opportunities for clubs to interact, learn, and share experiences. At the same time, it contributes to improving the spiritual life, arousing pride and solidarity in the community, thereby creating a joyful, enthusiastic, and creative atmosphere in labor, study, and work...
