On the evening of February 3, Yen Mo District People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the Giap Thin Spring Fair 2024. The event attracted a large number of local people to visit and enjoy.
The 2024 Spring Fair will take place over 5 days, from February 3-7. The fair will be organized at the district level, including 50 booths, 1 food court, 1 flower and ornamental plant selling area to serve people shopping for Tet.
The fair is an opportunity for people to exchange, buy and sell, and promote flower and ornamental plant products for the Lunar New Year; local products, 3-star OCOP products at the district level and 4-star products at the provincial level of enterprises, cooperatives, communes and towns. This is also an opportunity for businesses inside and outside the district to access the market, introduce industrial goods, handicrafts, agricultural products and food to consumers.
Also within the framework of the opening ceremony of the Giap Thin Spring Fair 2024, a Folk Dance Competition took place with the participation of 17 teams from 17 communes and towns in the district. The competition took place on the evening of February 3-5. Immediately after the opening ceremony, 9 teams participated in the creative competition. The competition is a healthy and useful playground to encourage, motivate, and promote the sports, cultural and artistic movements in the district, creating conditions for clubs to exchange, learn, and share experiences.
