The lotus flower, which grows in dark mud yet still emits a fragrant aroma, is a symbol of the soul, character, and willpower of the Vietnamese people. Each lotus season, many people heal their souls in different ways.
Through the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award , Vietnam.vn presents to you the video titled "Yen" by author Viet Hung Nguyen . The work was photographed in Yen Phu, Nguyen Trung Truc Ward, Hanoi .
In the fast-paced, stressful rhythm of modern life, people are increasingly facing pressure, stress, and a disconnect from themselves. Amidst this chaos, many are seeking refuge in nature, in peaceful spaces for healing. One of the increasingly popular "natural therapies" is arranging and admiring lotus flowers. More than just a relaxing activity, it offers profound spiritual value, helping individuals find inner balance, heal wounds, and restore vitality.
Yen - This is a workshop organized by a group of women who love beauty, especially lotus flowers. Here, people meet, socialize, share life stories, learn about lotus flowers, and participate in activities like flower arranging and making lotus-infused tea. The video captures gentle, authentic moments of people and space set to the music of "Is Peace Too Expensive?" by artist Khiem.
