Eleven 10th-grade students in Ho Chi Minh City took their exams in separate rooms, with surveillance cameras.

On the afternoon of May 31st, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced that 15 candidates across the city require special support during this year's 10th grade entrance exam.

Of those, 11 students with hand injuries will be assigned to separate examination rooms. Each examination room will have two invigilators and cameras recording continuously to ensure objectivity and transparency.

For exam assistance, candidates with hand injuries will be assisted by a high school invigilator in writing their answers based on what the candidate dictates. The person providing assistance must not be a teacher of the subjects being tested, including Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Languages.

In addition to the 11 candidates with hand injuries, Ho Chi Minh City also has 4 other candidates with leg injuries or who are currently undergoing treatment. They will be assisted with transportation and assigned to suitable examination rooms to ensure a smooth examination experience.

The 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City will take place over two days, June 1-2, with nearly 152,000 candidates. Candidates will take three compulsory subjects: Mathematics, Literature (120 minutes per subject), and Foreign Language (90 minutes). Candidates applying for specialized classes will also take an additional specialized subject exam lasting 150 minutes.

To facilitate the exam, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has planned 242 examination centers, including 226 regular centers and 16 specialized centers, with a total of 6,443 examination rooms. Each examination center has a minimum of 3 reserve rooms to handle any unforeseen situations.

Approximately 17,742 officials and teachers are expected to be mobilized to supervise and support the exam. Police, medical , electricity, technical, and other support personnel will also be deployed to ensure the exam is conducted safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
