The 2023 Kien Giang Provincial Taekwondo promotion exam was attended by 118 instructors and students from 22 Taekwondo clubs in the districts and cities of the province; they took the exam to be promoted to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Dan.
Upon passing the exam, instructors and students are awarded a Kukkiwon certificate and a certificate from the Kien Giang Provincial Taekwondo Federation for 1st Dan; and a certificate from the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation for 2nd and 3rd Dan.

According to the Kien Giang Provincial Taekwondo Federation, the purpose of organizing the promotion exam is to review and assess the professional level of instructors and students at Taekwondo clubs throughout the province. At the same time, it provides an opportunity for coaches, instructors, and students from Taekwondo clubs in the province to interact, exchange expertise, and promote the Taekwondo movement in Kien Giang province in the future.
