The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that Uganda also recorded two cases of Ebola infection and one death. In light of this situation, the World Health Organization declared the current Ebola outbreak an international emergency. The CDC also announced a 30-day temporary ban on entry into the US for travelers who have visited affected areas. However, this regulation does not apply to US citizens, nationals, or legal permanent residents returning from affected areas.
