1,500 entries entered the final round of the Hanoi City Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025

On July 4, the Organizing Committee of the Hanoi City Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025 announced that the Organizing Committee is conducting the final round at the city level with 1,500 entries selected from 27 districts and towns (old).

Launched in April 2025, localities received tens of thousands of entries, showing that the position of reading culture for "digital citizens" still holds a certain position.

The contest is organized annually by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with other units to continue effectively implementing the Project on Developing Reading Culture in the Community from 2020, with a vision to 2030 of the Government, Program 06-CTr/TU dated March 17, 2021 of the Hanoi Party Committee on "Developing culture, improving the quality of human resources, building elegant and civilized Hanoians in the period of 2021 - 2025".

The contest is an activity for teenagers, students in the city and readers of the capital, thereby arousing the passion for reading and encouraging the sharing and spreading of reading culture to the community, thereby promoting the reading movement among the young generation, forming reading habits and skills for students, contributing to the development of reading culture in schools and the community.

Through the contest, we also aim to affirm the position and important role of Reading Culture in contributing to improving people's knowledge, developing thinking and creativity, nurturing personality, forming a healthy lifestyle for the young generation, and promoting the building of a learning society.

Contestants: Students from grades 1 to 12 studying at primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, international schools and other typesof education in Hanoi.

Format: Candidates participate in the Contest by answering questions according to the test set and following the instructions in the appendix of the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
