According to Mr. Lam Van Minh, traditional Vietnamese medicine can treat many diseases and has been researched and passed down through generations in the field of Traditional Medicine. However, finding these herbs in nature is not easy, requiring knowledge and dedicated effort. With his knowledge of medicinal plants, for the past 20 years, Mr. Minh has traveled extensively, diligently searching for and harvesting herbs, then donating them to charitable traditional medicine clinics, contributing to the timely replenishment of scarce medicinal herbs.
Due to urbanization, medicinal herbs are becoming increasingly scarce, so Mr. Minh has to go further and deeper into the forest to supply enough for the clinics. His work has therefore become more arduous. Moved by Mr. Minh's dedication, many people have provided financial support, hoping to share his difficulties and join hands with him in caring for patients who cannot afford treatment.
Seeing the meaningful work Mr. Minh was doing, many people took advantage of their free time to join him in searching for medicinal plants. In addition, many philanthropists also provided vehicles to transport medicinal herbs and food, and contributed their efforts to Mr. Minh's charitable work.
It is known that Mr. Lam Van Minh's family has only average economic means, his children are grown up and have stable jobs - this is the foundation for Mr. Minh to wholeheartedly dedicate himself to helping the poor and those in difficult circumstances with activities such as: participating in road repairs, clearing bushes, assisting in organizing funerals for the poor...
He never accepted credit or benefits from his charitable activities because he always believed that helping others and assisting those in need was a shared responsibility of every individual in society.
