In the second qualifying round of the 2024 Seoul World Cup taking place today (November 5), Vietnamese billiards still has 3 faces, including: Nguyen Dinh Luan, Thon Viet Hoang Minh and Do Nguyen Trung Hau. In which, Hoang Minh and Trung Hau are the 2 players who were assigned to compete in the second qualifying round from the beginning (divided according to their positions on the world rankings).
Thon Viet Hoang Minh will play from the second qualifying round at the 2024 Seoul World Cup
Nguyen Dinh Luan continues to be the first Vietnamese player to play in the second qualifying round. He will play his first match in Group G at 9am today (November 5, Vietnam time), against Hironori Nakajima (Japan). Dinh Luan's remaining opponent in Group G is Serdal Bas (Turkey). The Vietnamese player will play his remaining match in the afternoon of the same day.
Thon Viet Hoang Minh is in Group I with two players from the host country, Korea, Kim Ha-eun (women) and Jeong Yeon-cheol. Meanwhile, Do Nguyen Trung Hau is in Group K with Vedat Aykol (Turkey) and Alexander Salazar (Colombia). Both Hoang Minh and Trung Hau will play their opening match at the 2024 Seoul World Cup at 1:30 p.m. today (November 5, Vietnam time). The two players from Vietnam will play the decisive match for their ticket to the next round at 4:30 p.m.

In the second qualifying round, 48 players are divided into 16 groups (3 players each), playing a round robin to calculate points and rank (with a draw). The top players in each group (16 players) will qualify for the third qualifying round of the Seoul Billiards World Cup 2024.
