Three Vietnamese billiards players will compete in an exciting match.

Of the three Vietnamese players who competed in the first qualifying round of the Seoul 2024 World Cup on November 4th, only one, Nguyen Dinh Luan, advanced to the next round. Nguyen Hoan Tat and Pham Van Son were eliminated. Hoan Tat's early elimination is a disappointment for Vietnamese 3-cushion carom billiards fans.

In the second qualifying round of the Seoul 2024 World Cup, held today (November 5th), Vietnamese billiards still has three representatives: Nguyen Dinh Luan, Thon Viet Hoang Minh, and Do Nguyen Trung Hau. Of these, Hoang Minh and Trung Hau were two players assigned to compete in the second qualifying round from the start (based on their world rankings).

Thon Viet Hoang Minh will play from the second round of the 2024 Seoul World Cup qualifiers.

Nguyen Dinh Luan continues to be the first Vietnamese player to compete in the second qualifying round. He will play his opening match in Group G at 9:00 AM today (November 5th, Vietnam time) against Hironori Nakajima (Japan). Dinh Luan's other opponent in Group G is Serdal Bas (Turkey). The Vietnamese player will play his remaining match later this afternoon.

Hoang Minh is in Group I with two players from host country South Korea: Kim Ha-eun (female) and Jeong Yeon-cheol. Meanwhile, Do Nguyen Trung Hau is in Group K with Vedat Aykol (Turkey) and Alexander Salazar (Colombia). Both Hoang Minh and Trung Hau will play their opening matches at the Seoul World Cup 2024 at 1:30 PM today (November 5th, Vietnam time). The two Vietnamese players will play their decisive matches for a place in the next round at 4:30 PM .

All matches of Vietnamese billiards players at World Seoul 2024 will be broadcast live on the SOOP Live platform (link: https://billiards.sooplive.co.kr/schedule).

In the second qualifying round, 48 players are divided equally into 16 groups (3 players per group), competing in a single round-robin format to determine points and rankings (draws are allowed). The top players in each group (16 players) will qualify for the third qualifying round of the Seoul 2024 World Cup Billiards.
