36 land-use conversion projects

The Provincial People's Council has just passed a resolution on the list of projects requiring the conversion of land use from rice cultivation land, protective forest land, and production forest land (second time), with a total area of ​​nearly 100 hectares of rice cultivation land, nearly 11 hectares of protective forest land, and 119 hectares of production forest land to be converted.

These include 16 public investment projects in districts and cities that have received investment approval from competent authorities, 3 hydropower projects, 2 projects whose investment approval has been decided by the Provincial People's Committee, and 8 mineral exploitation projects… Notably, among these are 2 residential area projects in Nhon Trach district that require a change in land use from rice cultivation, covering nearly 67 hectares: Dai Phuoc Tourist Urban Area (Phong Phu Riverside) with a scale of over 75 hectares, including 45 hectares of rice land; and Dai Phuoc Tourist Urban Area (Dai Phuoc River), covering nearly 50 hectares, including rice land.
