Quang Ninh elects Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

TPO - Following the opening session of the 3rd meeting of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council, 15th term, 2026-2031, the Provincial People's Council proceeded with personnel matters, electing a Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and electing additional members of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the session, delegates heard a presentation introducing the candidate for the position of Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council, 15th term, 2026-2031, for Mr. Nguyen Hong Duong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and delegate of the 15th term of the Provincial People's Council.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Nguyen Hong Duong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Mr. Bui Manh Hung, Director of the Department of Health .

According to the voting results, Mr. Nguyen Hong Duong was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council, 15th term, 2026-2031, with 100% of the delegates present voting in favor.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Duong is currently a delegate to the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council, 15th term, 2026-2031. Prior to being elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, he served as Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, in charge of propaganda and mass mobilization work for the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

Also at the session, the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council carried out the procedure to elect additional members to the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

As a result, Mr. Bui Manh Hung, Director of the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Health, was elected as a member of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee with 100% of the votes from the delegates present.

Immediately after the election results were announced, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Nguyen Hong Duong and Mr. Bui Manh Hung on assuming their new positions.
