'3D Palace of Conscience' - the pain of wanting to live true to yourself

Each character has his own identity and feelings. Lord Bao Quan (played by Hoa Hiep) has achieved great feats and is highly regarded by the royal court. However, he only wants to live like a young lady, wearing embroidered clothes and having gentle hair. Therefore, the three wives he married according to family tradition all had unfortunate fates.

Lady La (People's Artist Hong Van) had to leave her lover and bury her youth in the palace. Lady Quy (Le Loc) was the same, she resisted her fate by having an affair with her subordinate. Lady Y Lan (Meritorious Artist Oc Thanh Van) knew her husband's secret, so she had to smile and play the role of confidant and sister, helping him have moments of "escape from his body"... Even the courtiers around Lord Bao Quan all longed to live as themselves.

Hong Van's performance can be said to be the most psychological, depicting the bitterness of a lonely girl in luxury, and the Confucian discipline that bound her to the point that even when she had the chance, she did not dare to break free to start her life over.
