At the opening ceremony of the new school year 2024 - 2025 held today, October 15, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Director of Hue University, highlighted 7 important things that he was very passionate about when telling new students.
That is: Go with an honest person, you always receive prestige; go with a gentle person, you learn how to control yourself; go with a humorous person, you know what to refresh your life with; go with a wise person, you will know where to collect knowledge from; go with a thoughtful person, you will learn how to be organized; go with a person who dares to think and dare to do, you will have the motivation to overcome all fears; go with a successful person, their light will illuminate the path that you may not have seen clearly for a long time.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, Hue University welcomes 13,336 new students
According to Mr. Phuong, when new students choose Hue University to study, Hue University always tries to be worthy of that choice. Because that is the choice of the path leading to success.
"However, I also want to remind you that who you become is not due to society, not due toeducation , not due to circumstances, and certainly not due to bad luck. It is due to how you try and choose," Mr. Phuong shared.

Encouraging freshmen in the new school year, Mr. Phuong said: "The road ahead is paved with challenges, difficulties and sometimes obstacles. Most of these can be overcome, with a little time or effort. For example, one of the American chemists who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2023 failed his first test."
Mr. Phuong also expressed his gratitude to the parents, understanding the hope and trust that parents have placed in their children and entrusted to Hue University. That further urged the staff and lecturers of Hue University to increase their responsibility to the community.
"We pledge to dedicate ourselves so that your trust in us will not be lost but will be multiplied in future generations," said Mr. Phuong.

In the new school year 2024 - 2025, Hue University welcomes 13,336 new students to enroll at 8 member universities and Quang Tri branch, School of Tourism , 3 faculties of Hue University.
At the opening ceremony of the new school year, Hue University also presented certificates of merit from the Director of Hue University to students with outstanding achievements. Including: 37 students who won prizes in national and international competitions; 9 Vietnamese students and 5 foreign students with the best academic and training results; 2 students who are valedictorians of Hue University and 13 valedictorians of member universities, schools, faculties, and branches.
