1. Admission scores for the People's Police Academy: From 18.67 to 26.01
2. People's Security University: 17.66 to 26.05
3. People's Public Security Political Academy: 21.74 to 25.21
4. Firefighting University: 19.75 to 24.23
5. People's Security Academy: 18.78 to 26.27
6. People's Public Security Technical and Logistics University: 19.05 to 25.21
7. People's Police University: 15.95 to 26.28
Last year, the highest cutoff score for admission to the 8 police academies, based on a combination of assessment test scores and high school graduation exam scores, was 25.52 points. This applied to female candidates from the North applying to the Party and State Administration major, using the CA2 assessment test (multiple-choice questions on natural sciences , social sciences, foreign languages, and a written essay in literature) from the Ministry of Public Security's exam.
The security-related professional fields recorded the lowest entry requirements. Female candidates from the South using the CA2 exam to apply to this field only needed to achieve 16 points.
In 2025, the Ministry of Public Security will use three admission methods: direct admission; admission based on a combination of international foreign language certificates and the results of an assessment test administered by the Ministry of Public Security; and admission based on a combination of high school graduation exam results and the results of an assessment test administered by the Ministry of Public Security.
This year, the Ministry of Public Security is expanding the number of subject combinations for admission to People's Public Security schools from 7 in 2024 to 15 in 2025.
The 15 subject combinations include: A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English), B00 (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Mathematics, Biology, English), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), C03 (Mathematics, Literature, History), D01 (Mathematics, Literature, English), D04 (Mathematics, Literature, Chinese), D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English), D09 (Mathematics, History, English), D10 (Mathematics, Geography, English), K01 (Mathematics, English, Informatics), K20 (Mathematics, English, Technology), K21 (Mathematics, Literature, Informatics), K22 (Mathematics, Literature, Technology).
