So what's the difference between Vi Hao in 2023 and Vi Hao now? The answer is rationality. This striker's strengths are speed and dribbling, but previously he often rushed his passing or decisive finishing, missing many good opportunities. But thanks to Binh Duong FC recruiting a number of experienced players like Que Ngoc Hai and Nguyen Hai Huy, and retaining Nguyen Tien Linh, Vi Hao has learned a lot from his seniors. These three players frequently talk, share, and encourage Vi Hao after training sessions, and the results have come. When he has the ball in the opponent's third of the field, Vi Hao's breakthroughs are more effective thanks to feints or sudden stops followed by acceleration.

At Binh Duong FC, Vi Hao is now a key player, trusted by both coaches Le Huynh Duc and Hoang Anh Tuan. From the 2023-2024 season to the present, he has played 34 matches in the V-League, with an 88% starting rate. Last season, he scored 5 goals. This season, he hasn't scored any goals yet but has provided 3 assists. He also won two penalties for the team. Now, Vi Hao is a major challenge for defenders in the V-League thanks to his "old weapons" of speed and dribbling power, and his "new weapon" of cunning.
Vĩ Hào's performances for the Vietnamese national team have also been extremely impressive. During the September FIFA Days, he played energetically, bringing a fresh burst of energy to the right flank in matches against Thailand and Russia. A month later, he scored one goal against India and earned a penalty, which Quế Ngọc Hải unfortunately missed. Before that, he shone in a training match against Nam Định FC with a brace. With Van Toan having only recently returned from injury and not yet in top form, Vi Hao has an advantage in the competition for a starting spot.
