At the launching ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health Vu Manh Ha shared that, for the medical profession, "silent sacrifice" is demonstrated in every overnight shift, every stressful surgery; in dedicated patient care; in trips to remote areas; and in scientific research and the application of new techniques to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment. It is a choice of responsibility, a choice of dedication for the health and trust of the people.

Units throughout the sector will continue to uphold the tradition of solidarity, innovation, and creativity ; improve professional quality, tighten discipline and order; and build the image of a dedicated, professional, and modern Vietnamese doctor, meeting the requirements of development in the new era.
According to the organizers, the competition is open to all Vietnamese citizens aged 18 and above, residing both in Vietnam and abroad, as well as foreigners working in Vietnam.
The works must reflect real people, real events, specific locations, and typical actions.
The submitted article should have a maximum length of 4,500 words. In the photo category, authors can submit single photos or photo sets (5 to 8 photos), truthfully reflecting professional medical activities.
There will be 28 awards for written articles and photographs, with a grand prize of 80 million VND (for written articles) and 50 million VND (for photographs).
