Previously, from 2:00 p.m. on August 29, the entire Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force (PC08) was mobilized to work 24/7 at key intersections to regulate traffic, prevent congestion and support people to travel safely and smoothly during the peak holiday of September 2.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Binh, Ho Chi Minh City currently has more than 300 points at risk of congestion. At these locations, the Traffic Police coordinate with local police, youth volunteers and grassroots security forces to regulate and divert traffic, limiting prolonged congestion. At the same time, free water is provided to people on their way home for the September 2 holiday.

In addition to the surveillance camera system directly connected to the center, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police also deployed flycams to observe traffic from above. Thanks to that, the authorities can quickly detect arising situations, promptly operate and handle them more effectively during the peak of the September 2nd holiday.
