On the afternoon of September 1, the working delegation of the Military Medical Department led by Colonel Le Van Dong, Deputy Director of the Military Medical Department, inspected the readiness for admission and emergency care at Military Hospital 354 and inspected a number of military medical stations serving the A80 mission.

Implementing the plan of the Military Medical Department, Military Hospital 354 has developed a plan to receive, classify, provide emergency care and treatment for about 200 victims in disaster and mass accident situations.

The hospital has fully arranged human resources, equipment, medicine, medical supplies, means of transport, maintained high readiness, ensuring effective handling of situations according to the motto "rescue the most people, fastest, most effectively".

Military Hospital 354 organized a mass emergency drill, simulating a serious accident with a large number of victims and multiple injuries.

As soon as the alarm was given, the entire hospital's on-call system was activated, and the mobile emergency teams quickly deployed their missions. The victim triage area was scientifically arranged, ensuring the correct classification of injury levels to prioritize timely emergency care.

Doctors and nurses should rearrange supplies and equipment in the medical station to be more reasonable and scientific.

Emergency surgical teams, intensive care, imaging diagnostics, testing… all took their positions, performing the reception and treatment procedures according to the trained plan. Modern medical equipment, from ventilators, monitors to transportation vehicles, was put into full use, helping the emergency work to take place smoothly and effectively.

Through the exercise, the ability to coordinate between departments and divisions, as well as the coordination with transportation and logistics forces, was highly appreciated.

Colonel Le Van Dong directly inspected the command and control system, triage area, facilities, alarm procedures, patient reception, triage and treatment.

The Deputy Director of the Military Medical Department acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of readiness to perform the tasks of the leaders, doctors, and hospital staff. At the same time, he requested that the hospital's staff, doctors, and nurses continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, strictly maintain the on-duty regime, closely coordinate, and prepare carefully, ensuring readiness to receive and effectively handle all situations.

The same afternoon, the working group inspected military medical stations along the routes. At some points, due to heavy rain, people took temporary shelter in military medical tents, even blocking the entrances, affecting ambulances and emergency reception activities.

The delegation promptly propagated and mobilized people to create open space, ensuring the road for ambulances and the operation of the military medical station. On this occasion, Colonel Le Van Dong encouraged officers and doctors to continue to promote their sense of responsibility, maintain their determination, and be ready to fulfill their mission of taking care of the health of soldiers and people.
