At Thai Nguyen Power Company, during the holiday, all departments maintained 24/7 on-call duty. From grid dispatch and operation to incident handling, everything was strictly maintained. Each position and each job was linked to the responsibility of ensuring safe and continuous electricity supply.
Mr. Luong Xuan Loc, from General Team No. 1, Thai Nguyen Power Company, said: "During holidays, we are on duty 24/7, always ready to handle any arising situations. Even on days off, our team is highly focused to ensure stable power supply and prevent interruptions."
The work environment may be quiet, but behind the scenes, there is intense concentration. Because even a small incident can affect the lives of thousands of households and the production activities of businesses.
Mr. Vu Dinh Phuoc, Deputy Head of Thai Nguyen Power Company, shared: "The unit has developed a holiday duty plan early on, intensified power grid inspections, and prepared sufficient materials, equipment, and personnel. The highest goal is to ensure safe and continuous power supply throughout the holiday."
Also on May 1st, at Cao Ngan Thermal Power Plant, the operating rhythm was almost unchanged compared to a normal day. Within the plant premises, the generating units operated stably, and the technical parameters were closely monitored and controlled.

During the holiday period, the unit maintained a 100% production safety duty roster across all departments. The power generation capacity of the two generating units remained stable at approximately 80 MW/hour. At the Central Control Room, each shift had 15 officers and engineers on duty, ensuring safe and continuous operation.
Mr. Le Cao Dat, from Cao Ngan Thermal Power Plant, said: "During our shifts, we constantly monitor the operating parameters of the generator unit, promptly detecting and handling any abnormalities. Even on holidays, the work still requires the same precision and high concentration as on any other day."
Without the hustle and bustle, May 1st for those working in the electricity industry remains a familiar routine of work shifts. It is this perseverance and dedication that contributes to maintaining the stability of the power system – a crucial foundation for economic development and social life.
