The Capital's blue uniform accompanies the exam candidates.

"Free motorbike rides," "Zero-cost phone calls," "Be confident - we're with you," "Give us a hug," "A thousand wishes - overcome the challenges"... these are meaningful and practical models, slogans, and wishes that the youth of Hanoi have implemented to support students taking the 10th grade entrance exam.

This morning, on the first day of the 10th grade entrance exam, 100% of districts, counties, towns, and the Youth Union simultaneously launched the "Exam Support Program" at 201 exam locations, with the message "Be confident, we are with you."

The image of youth union members braving the sun to man checkpoints at exam sites has become familiar. This year, the "Exam Support" teams were not only deployed at all exam sites across the 30 districts, counties, and towns, but also clearly demonstrated their volunteer spirit through concrete actions.

With thorough preparation, the "Blue Shirt" volunteers guided candidates to their examination rooms, provided water and pens, assisted in picking up and dropping off candidates who forgot their documents or arrived late, and ensured traffic order and safety in the examination area. Each volunteer acted as a silent companion, helping to alleviate pressure and anxiety for candidates and their parents.

Starting at 7:00 AM this morning, 400 volunteers from the Dong Da District Youth Union and universities were present at 8 examination sites. Each person had a task: some distributed water, others held umbrellas for the candidates, and some chatted with and encouraged them… Notably, many meaningful slogans and messages of encouragement were prepared by the volunteers to give to the candidates.

Meanwhile, the volunteer team in Tay Ho district also prepared snacks, candies, fans, and other resources to support candidates in case of any unforeseen circumstances. According to Luong Mai Ngan, a specialist from the Tay Ho District Youth Union: “The volunteers demonstrated a proactive spirit, quick thinking, and flexible problem-solving skills to help ensure the exam was conducted safely, seriously, and effectively.”

At the exam site at Xuan La Secondary School, Nguyen Dong Phuc, Deputy Head of the Student Volunteer Club of the University of Electrical Engineering, said: "Each volunteer student has a task, and they are all doing their best to support and encourage the candidates."

According to Dang Thanh Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Hoan Kiem District Youth Union, the District Youth Union organized the "Exam Support Campaign" at three schools: Tran Phu High School, Ngo Sy Lien Secondary School, and Nguyen Du Secondary School, with approximately 40-50 volunteers at each location, carrying out their duties for three days of exams.

Pham Hung Cuong, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ngoc Lam Ward (Long Bien District), said: “Training and guidance for volunteers has been underway since last week. We have also prepared raincoats to be ready to assist candidates.”

While waiting for her child at the exam site at Xuan La Secondary School (Tay Ho district), Ms. Vu Kim Hoa shared: "I am very happy to see the volunteers in their blue shirts supporting and assisting the exam sites. They didn't hesitate to be present from the moment the children were about to enter the exam room until the end. Besides parents accompanying their children, the support of the youth union members also helped the children feel comfortable and confident in overcoming the exam."

Mr. Pham Van Thanh (Hoan Kiem district), a parent whose child is taking the exam at Tran Phu High School in Hoan Kiem, expressed: "Seeing the young people present from early morning, providing tireless support, I clearly felt their kindness and positive energy. This is a shining example for our children."
