Promoting the pioneering and volunteer role of young people in the construction and protection of their homeland, the youth of Tay Ninh province have implemented many meaningful projects and activities in recent times. This has contributed to changing the face of rural areas, improving the quality of life, and spreading a sense of responsibility within the community.

Accordingly, the Phuoc Vinh Tay Commune Youth Union organized a campaign to address environmental pollution hotspots in the Cong D canal area, Tay Phu hamlet. More than 50 youth union members participated in collecting waste, clearing waterways, and cleaning up along the roads.

Previously, the area around Cong D canal was known to have accumulated a lot of household waste, causing an eyesore and affecting the lives of the surrounding residents. After being cleaned up by youth union members, the area has become more spacious and cleaner.

Pham Duy Phuong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Vinh Tay commune and Secretary of the Phuoc Vinh Tay Commune Youth Union, said: “Through this activity, we not only contribute to improving the environmental landscape but also help raise the awareness of Youth Union members, young people, and residents in maintaining general hygiene. In the future, the Commune Youth Union will continue to implement more practical activities, promoting the role and responsibility of young people in jointly building a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful locality.”

In addition, the youth of Binh Thanh commune implemented the "National Flag Road" youth project along the border patrol road in Giong Noi hamlet, spanning over 3km. Nearly 100 red flags with yellow stars were hung along the roads, creating a prominent highlight and giving the border area a more dignified appearance.

Participating in the project, Youth Union member Dao Minh Dang (residing in Bau Voi hamlet) shared: “Seeing the red flags with yellow stars fluttering along the rural road, I feel very proud and even more aware of the responsibility of young people. I will also actively participate in more volunteer activities to contribute to building a more civilized, prosperous and beautiful homeland.”

According to Nguyen Thi My Hue, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh commune and Secretary of the Binh Thanh Commune Youth Union: “The National Flag Road project is a practical youth initiative that demonstrates the pioneering role of young people in participating in building new rural areas in the locality. Through this, it contributes to educating union members and young people about solidarity, love for their homeland and country, and responsibility towards the community.”

Through concrete and practical actions, the youth of the province continue to affirm their pioneering spirit and responsibility in community activities. Each project and task undertaken not only contributes to changing the face of the locality but also spreads the beautiful image of the youth in their green uniforms, always ready to dedicate themselves and join hands in building their homeland.
